I’m Karl-Ernst Kiel, a software engineer exploring whether a solo developer, aided by AI, can build and ship useful music apps on a small budget and a tight schedule.

I play keys in a band, back solo artists, and occasionally play drums. I use music apps — metronomes, ear trainers, setlist managers — and have ideas to make them better.
